1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Alertly (the "Service"), available at alertly-ai.vercel.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Alertly is an AI-powered web monitoring platform that allows users to create alerts based on natural language queries. The Service searches publicly available web sources, analyzes results using artificial intelligence, and delivers relevant findings to your chosen channels (Slack, email).

3. Account Registration

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service.
• One person or entity may not maintain more than one free account.

4. Free and Paid Plans

Free Plan

The free plan includes limited features (up to 2 active alerts, daily frequency only). We reserve the right to modify free plan limits with reasonable notice.

Pro Plan

The Pro plan is billed monthly at the rate displayed at the time of subscription. Payments are processed through Razorpay. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges until you cancel.

Cancellation & Refunds

• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
• We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
• Upon cancellation, your account reverts to the free plan.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights
• Monitor private, gated, or password-protected content without authorization
• Scrape or harvest data in violation of any website's terms of service
• Send spam, phishing, or unsolicited communications via alert delivery channels
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure
• Overload the Service with excessive requests or alerts beyond your plan limits
• Use the Service to stalk, harass, or harm any individual
• Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, branding, and documentation, is owned by Alertly and protected by intellectual property laws. Your alert configurations and data remain your property. We do not claim ownership of content you create or monitor.

7. AI-Generated Content

Alert results include AI-generated summaries and relevance scores. While we strive for accuracy, AI outputs may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. You should not rely solely on Alertly's analysis for critical business, legal, financial, or safety decisions. Always verify important information from original sources.

8. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party platforms including Slack, Google, and Razorpay. Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

9. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alertly and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that search results will be complete, accurate, or timely.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Alertly, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including liability limitations and indemnification) shall survive.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal action.
